I consider myself primarily a painter and sculptor, having had classic training in the ‘Arts.’ Graduating from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

I moved to the Reno area over 40 years ago. After working for over 25 years in the Graphic Arts Industry, I left to pursue a Fine Arts Career.

While continuing to paint and work in various forms of sculpture, my current focus and passion is in papermaking and related natural fibers and book arts.

My art is influenced and inspired by my lifelong passion for my horses and dogs and the other creatures that share my life journey and the wonder of the natural world that surrounds me.

I am a Founding member/past Board member of Reno Open Studios. I am also currently a member of the Sierra Watercolor Society, The Latimer Art Club, and the Sierra Arts Foundation.
